The online shop went live back in December 1998, thereby laying the foundation for the new online and mobile sales channels that are among the great drivers of growth today. Quite irrespective of the channel, moving images will remain at the heart of our offer in the future, too. Our goal: to present the market with the best home shopping offer available on TV, online, and on the go.

Highly Professional TV Operations

TV is and remains part of our DNA. We broadcast 365 days a year on HSE24, HSE24 Extra, and HSE24 Trend with a total of 26 shows a day live from our studios in Ismaning near Munich. Here, the latest technology, precise planning, and close teamwork guarantee successful shows. The team in front of the camera, consisting of the presenter and an expert guest, deliver entertaining and informative product presentations. Ideally, this leaves no questions unanswered. And, if it does, customers can be put live on air or receive further assistance from the trained employees in the HSE24 Competence Center. Furthermore, the success of the program is tracked live from directly behind the scenes in the state-of-the-art control room. With this information, the sales team can intervene directly in the program in order to optimize the sales presentation.

E-Commerce: a Sales Driver

Digital channels play an important role for us and have been a key growth driver for the company for many years. In 2017, e-commerce generated sales of €186 million (DACH). Orders via PC, tablet or smartphone now represent over a quarter of total sales. Almost 60% of all new customers were gained online in 2017, with 50% coming via mobile devices. Overall, almost 40% of HSE24’s customers make purchases using HSE24’s online channels.

Individual Shopping Experiences on All Channels

Our customers are able to experience the product worlds independently of the respective platform. They therefore have the choice of whether to follow the shows on TV or via the live stream in the online shop. In addition, the products can be ordered directly from the online shop during and in many cases even before the TV show. Cross-media networking offers an inspiring wealth of information with everything one needs for a successful shopping trip: product highlights, additional information, background stories, consumer tips, variable ordering and payment options, and much more.
